The Glow Walk is a colourful, fun 5.5km walk taking place on the evening of 25th March at Warwick Racecourse.
Alzheimer’s Society campaign for change, to fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia today. The vision they hope to achieve is a world without dementia.
Dementia is a broad term for a group of symptoms that include problems with memory, thinking or language, and changes in mood, emotions, perception and behaviour.
Dementia is a progressive disease, which means symptoms may be quite mild at first, but get worse over time. There are many types of dementia, but Alzheimer’s disease is the most common. When a relative or someone you know suffers from dementia, the effect it has on the whole family can be devastating.
